GAVINO
I’m disappointed in myself for allowing her to continue feeling like she’s nothing more than my mistress. Though I don’t have a wife yet, so she can’t really be a comáre anyway, still, she shouldn’t feel that way. I’m the one who has allowed it, all because I liked the power it made me feel over her.
Cazzo. I’m an asshole.
Slowly pulling out of her body, a feeling of regret washes through me at having to leave her warm center. If I could be buried there all fucking day, I would make it my goddamn home away from home. Tugging my pants up, I arrange myself back to appear as the Boss that I need to be, at least on the outside.
Luciana slips from her place against the door and I watch her sweet ass jiggle as she moves toward the bathroom. My phone buzzes in my pocket, but I ignore it, too mesmerized by the woman that I’ve claimed as my own, and the way that she makes me feel.
The bathroom door closes, and my phone begins to buzz again. Reaching into my pocket, I tug it out, answering it without looking at the caller ID.
“Santoro,” I grunt, keeping my eyes on the closed bathroom door.
“Boss, we got a problem,” Massimo murmurs.
“Yeah?”
“Our shipment hasn’t arrived. We need that to get it on the streets.”
I curse. Licking my lips, I tell him that I’ll call him back, then I find Kade’s name in my contacts.
“Thought we had a deal,” I bark.
Kade clears his throat. “They’ll be there. It’s the first time, they’ve never gone to New York before,” he explains. “I’ll get a line on them, but they should be there tomorrow without issue.”
“I want to know every goddamn leg of their trip. In fact, I want to know the exact time of their arrival, I will meet them at the drop off,” I grunt.
“I’ll keep you updated via text,” he murmurs.
Ending the call, I don’t ask him if he made it home okay, or any of those pleasantries, this was not a conversation of a personal level, this was a conversation that was solely business.
The bathroom door slowly opens, and Luciana slowly walks through looking just as gorgeous as she did when I entered her bedroom just a few moments ago, before I messed her up and fucked her against the wall.
“You hungry?” I ask her, unable to take my eyes off of her.
The diamonds on her neck sparkle in the light, they fit her, they’re simple enough that they don’t overpower her natural beauty, yet they’re large enough that there is no mistake she has someone who takes care of her.
“Famished,” she smiles softly. It’s sexy, the smile she gives me, it’s small and sweet, it’s her.
Holding out my hand, she moves toward me, slipping her cool fingers against my own. I flex my fingers against hers, squeezing her hand in mine.
Standing still, I pull her against my side, lifting my free hand to cup her cheek. I’m careful
